About Me

My creative journey began in the summer of 2016 when my then 4 year old granddaughter discovered a bath bomb in the guest bathroom (probably there for many years). She was so excited and wanted more baths with bath bombs. I, of course thought how difficult can they be to make. Well, the picture on the right was my first attempt. Suffice it to say after much research and a few more improved attempts I mastered my bath bomb making skills. In my research, I came across so much information online, including YouTube videos full of all things handmade. The following ladies led me down the path to where I am today and I want to offer my sincere thanks to them for guiding me during this amazing journey.

Marie Rayma, Humblebee & Me inspired me to pursue my next venture. I learned to create my own makeup, lotions, and various other awesome creations. I was off exploring this wonderful new world.

Next, I met Katie Carson, Royalty Soaps and Ariane Arsenault, La Fille de la Mer on YouTube. They were creating amazing cold process soaps using a stick blender. Wait!, What? Many, many years ago I had taken a handmade soap class, loved it, and wanted to make more. I actually still have the class schedule, supplies and books. Apparently, after all these years, I've never found time to make soap. With all the hand stirring required. Was it really worth it, was it fun? Then I stumbled upon Katie and Ariane's videos. Soaping with a stick blender was a game changer for me so I started to work on my next adventure.

I spent the next three years learning everything I could on ingredients, safe usage, formulating my own products, learning to read labels and understanding what all those words really meant. My co-workers became my panel of testers (and boy did I test them). I found Arizona Soap Supply here in Arizona where I purchase my ingredients and continue to grow my knowledge base. I took a class through their store and met Joanna Couch, The Soap Gal. She taught me how to start a soap business and so, here I am. I would also like to thank Michelle Pontoriero for working with me to create my amazing logo and all of the others who have helped and inspired me to make this possible.

My business name came from the little granddaughter who started it all, as she calls me her Arizona Grandma. My goal is to share with you the amazing benefits of handmade bath & body products created with a Grandma's love and without the unnecessary and harmful ingredients.
Thank you for visiting my site and I hope you love my products as much as I love making them for you.
